About the Film

Originally titled Memories of Prince Albert Hunt, this film is a study of the wild short life of Prince Albert Hunt, a blues singer/fiddler from Terrell, Texas, who was murdered in 1931 by a jealous husband. Ken Harrison, Dallas filmmaker, made this film in 1974 as an experiment in using Super 8mm film for television production. The filmmaker went on to work in Hollywood making feature films and directing television series.
