A key item is Barry Jean Ancelet’s essay “Lomax in Louisiana: Trials and Triumphs.” Another overview accessible online offers an additional frame for assessing the film Cajun Country. This is “Six Degrees of Alan Lomax: A Review and Multimedia Excerpts” by Ryan André Brasseaux and Joshua Clegg Caffery in Southern Spaces (November 30, 2015).
