Born in Tehran, in 1958, Caroline Babayan grew up in a cosmopolitan, untraditional family. Studied filmmaking in London and has made short films and documentaries in various countries in Europe, India, South Africa and the USA.Hamburger and Dolma was shot in New York and Massachusetts, and edited in Norway, where she lives.
