Judi Jennings

Judi Jennings enjoys serving as the executive director of the Kentucky Foundation for Women (KFW), a private, independent philanthropy that supports feminist art advancing social change. The first generation of her Appalachian family to attend college, Jennings earned a Ph.D. in British History from the University of Kentucky. She taught at Union College and worked at Appalshop, Inc., a nonprofit arts and education center in Whitesburg, in the coalfields of eastern Kentucky. In 1991, Jennings became the founding Director of the University of Louisville’s Women’s Center.
