Martha King |
Martha King hails from the mountains of North Carolina and has a strong interest in documenting the intersection of music and culture in the South. She wrote about the community presented in "Madison County Project" as her master’s thesis for the Folklife Program of the Department of American Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. She and her collaborator Rob Roberts completed their film project in 2008. She is currently teaching as an Assistant Professor in the UNC Department of Anthropology.
