Filmmakers

John R. Paulson is a producer, director, editor, and cinematographer. His specialty is the documentary form with a particular emphasis on history, the arts, and films that present the cultural traditions of the world. His production company, John Paulson Productions, develops and self-produces projects, and provides film and video production services for television broadcast, museum exhibition, home video, DVD, and digital delivery. For twelve years Mr. Paulson was employed by Smithsonian Productions, the media production group of the Smithsonian Institution, where he photographed, edited, and directed a continuous stream of highly regarded programs on an extraordinary breadth of subjects.
