Charles Weber |
Charlie Weber began his career in local television and production houses before settling in at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage where he filmed, produced, and directed documentary segments and programs. As Media Director, he taught documentary filmmaking workshops nationally and internationally and became the first managing editor of Smithsonian Folklife Magazine. He led the successful Smithsonian Folklife Storytellers Workshop for many years. Weber retired from the Smithsonian at the end of 2024.
