About the Film
Filmmaker Stan Woodward stopped by a festival with people demonstrating horse and mule farming near the town of Blackville, South Carolina. There he encounters the "Dixie Dew Drops", a traditional South Carolina Bluegrass band. He interviews Woody Peters about his love for mules and discovers two young brothers who sing old gospel hymns. The film shows how traditional music gets passed on from generation to generation.
