About the Film
The scrap iron art of Charlie Grimsley (1923 --2017).
Folklorist John Burrison writes "Finding Grimsley was truly a case of serendipity. Stan Woodward and I were about halfway to Atlanta from a shoot on the coast; he was not well (driving but couldn’t feel his feet—gout). When I spotted that fishing boat in the sky and told him, he screeched to a halt and jumped out of the car with his camera, totally forgetting his problems. Now, that’s a dedicated documentarian!"
