Shows a tightly wound 16mm on a core and shows how to prevent dreaded "core drop-out". Demos a 8mm film a core and shows what happens with core drop-out.
###Tip### Brodsky and Treadway do not recommend the use of cores with small gauge films like 8mm and super 8 because the core and the film is so narrow that core drop-out is much more of a danger than in 16mm and 35mm film.
